San Jose, CA – Hope Services, Silicon Valley’s leading provider of services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health needs, is thrilled to introduce Katie Sandoval-Clark as the organization’s new Vice President of Development. With an impressive background in nonprofit leadership and a passion for uplifting marginalized communities, Katie brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role in advancing Hope Services’ philanthropic efforts.<\/span><\/p>

Katie’s journey into the world of nonprofit fundraising began with a profound commitment to justice and supporting underserved populations. Having pursued a law degree to make a difference in the lives of oppressed individuals, she soon found her calling at Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY), a juvenile justice nonprofit. Over nine years, Katie rose through the ranks, excelling in various leadership positions, including Vice President of Development and Chief Advancement Officer, where she played a crucial role in propelling FLY’s budget from $4.15M to $10.4M.<\/span><\/p>

“I have always been driven to uplift and empower marginalized people in my community,” Katie shared. “The inspiring work of Hope Services aligns perfectly with my life’s mission, and I\u2019m excited to contribute my skills to help the organization reach more individuals who need support.”<\/span><\/p>

As Vice President of Development, Katie will collaborate closely with Chip Huggins and the leadership team to design and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan. Her responsibilities will include developing key external alliances, expanding the donor base, securing corporate and foundation support, and overseeing fundraising events. Additionally, Katie will help cultivate greater awareness of Hope Services’ mission and impact in collaboration with Hope\u2019s marketing and communications team.<\/span><\/p>

“My immediate focus will be to understand Hope Services inside and out, get to know Hope\u2019s community of supporters, and build on the great work of the development team\u201d Katie explained. \u201cI look forward to advancing Hope\u2019s work together!”<\/span><\/p>
