With a remarkable track record of navigating complex financial landscapes,\u00a0<span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u2019s expertise and passion will help us continue empowering individuals with developmental disabilities.<\/p><p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Most recently,\u00a0<span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u00a0served as CFO for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), where he managed a $15 billion budget and oversaw critical financial operations, including budget development, fiscal analysis, and legislative fiscal reporting. His tenure at CDCR was preceded by his role as CFO for the California Department of Water Resources (DWR), where he administered a $5 billion budget and managed financial planning for the State Water Project\u2014the world\u2019s largest water development system.<\/p><p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u2019s financial acumen extends beyond public service. He previously served as CFO of Guardian Healthcare Services, where he spearheaded financial strategies to drive growth while maintaining fiscal discipline. Earlier in his career, he was CFO for the Department of Health &amp; Human Services for Indian Health Services in California and Hawaii, overseeing financial operations for federally funded hospitals and clinics. In the private sector, he excelled as Senior Vice President of Finance for a multinational software company, managing financial restructuring, acquisitions, and operational investments across 13 countries.<\/p><p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Specializing in nonprofit accounting and finance,\u00a0<span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u00a0has contributed to global organizations through advisory board and board of director roles. His comprehensive skill set includes audit, risk governance, fraud investigation, internal controls, and mergers and acquisitions. Recognized as an accomplished leader, he holds numerous certifications, including CPA, FCA, CFA, CIA, CMA, CGMA, CFE, and others.<\/p><p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u2019s academic credentials include a bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s in finance and an MBA from the University of California, Davis, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions. He has further honed his expertise through executive programs at Cornell University and UCLA. His achievements have garnered significant accolades, including being\u00a0<span class=\"mark0asaycbye\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">nam<\/span>ed \u201cCFO of the Year\u201d by the Sacramento Business Journal and receiving a national award from the Department of Health and Human Services for his contributions to healthcare in California.<\/p><p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">A lifelong lover of music,\u00a0<span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u00a0finds joy in playing percussion instruments, from jazz drums to the traditional Punjabi rhythms of bhangra and dhol beats that reflect his cultural heritage. His love for travel often intertwines with his passion for golf, as he supports his daughters, who are competitive golfers. One unforgettable experience was being in the company of Tiger Woods as his daughter played alongside Charlie Woods, Tiger\u2019s son, at the Tiger Woods Invitational at Pebble Beach. These moments, along with cultural journeys like his recent trip to Japan, fuel his spirit for exploration and his deep connection to the world\u2019s beauty and diversity.<\/p><p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span class=\"mark8ep0skrll\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">Vinay<\/span>\u2019s diverse background, leadership skills, and passion for life make him a perfect fit for our team.
